STAFF & BOARD OF DIRECTORS Matt Scherr – Executive Director & Grand High Sultan With nary a professional or environmental credential to his name, Mr. Scherr merely poses as an environmentalist to get discounts on exotic conferences. He is, in actuality, a free market capitalist. He began this journey in titles with a hard-fought bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Colorado. As a waiter shortly after college, Mr. Scherr soon realized the earnings potential of the degree. So with that knowledge, and upon the occasion of a career-ending injury, he left the food service industry for a career on the information super-highway. After falling asleep at the wheel on said highway, he found himself parked in a pasture called Vail. With a penchant for bad metaphors and a rediscovery of the real (vs. the virtual) world, Mr. Scherr devoted the rest of his days to “community.” He practices that devotion from his home in Minturn with his exquisitely tolerant family. Julie Norberg - Assistant Director a.k.a. DOCTOR WHO The mountains just weren’t close enough for Julie in Salt Lake City. So she reflected on life, packed her daughters bags and began a new life in the mountains. A life that combines professional life and personal legacy…jumping in recycling bins…uhhh what? A mere five months after joining the Alliance, Julie had climbed out of the bin and into the corner office. With such hits under her belt as Green Drinks and the upcoming Green Business Guide (name subject to change), she accepted the mantle of Dr. Who...Who's duties include time traveling in the TARDIS, a contraption closely resembling a worm composting bin, where she explores time and space, solving problems and righting wrongs. Stay tuned to see what she grows up to be some day. Contact: 970.827.9999
