RECON is a retail project of the Eagle Valley Alliance. Builders, homeowners and suppliers donate surplus and used building materials to Recon. Donors receive a receipt for tax deduction, and you get quality material for a fraction of what you'd pay retail. See, builders aren't in the storage business or the sales business. They continually have great material they have to throw away. Recon provides a way to salvage that treasure, keep it out of the landfill and in economic circulation. 
RECON is just outside the Eagle County Landfill, two miles north of Wolcott off Highway 131. From I-70, take exit 157 and go north to the stop sign at Hwy 6. Turn left, go 1/4 mile to Hwy 131. Turn right and go two miles to the landfill road. Turn right and follow this winding road till you see RECON on the crest of the hill on your left.
